Poetry Uncensored (haiku)

I have been trying some haikus lately, and I decided to share with you guys. For those not too familiar with poetry; a haiku is simply a 17 syllable poem, five syllables on the first line, seven on the second and another five syllables on the last line.

AVIAN CALL

The female bird sings,

the male spreads his wings and flies

to join in her song.

LOVE’S LAMP

In the dark tunnel

my love lights the path I take

through to your heart’s door.

DROWNING IN YOU

For you I’m  drowning

in love deeper than the ocean

for only you I live.

A POET MUSES

lost in nature’s love

and beauty, my spirit flows

and my pen gushes.
